Welcome to our website

We offer our youth with an alternative sport, with the hope of keeping them off our streets. Our karate is offered to youth and adults from extreme volatile communities. Communities where drugs are in full supply and the youth can easily become distracted and join gangster groups. Whiles we have reached our goal by offering kyokushin karate to at least 90 students of Hanover Park & Ruyterwacht our focus has changed from just keeping our youth off our streets, we want to produce South Africa's first full contact Kyokushin karate world champion.

Our motto " there's no greater pleasure in doing what others say you are unable to do"

1st youth international youth full contact championships 2005

The youth international full contact karate tournament has been held in Japan annually since 2005 and our club have successfully managed to take students to the event, every year to date. 14 in 2005, 9 in 2006, 7 in 2007...

In 2006 four of our students also represented South Africa at the Seychelles versus South Africa international tournament held on the island of Maher, Seychelles.

At the 2nd international youth karate tournament 2006, The South African team consisted of only nine students. All of them members of Ruyterwacht and Hanover Park dojos.
